World Laughter Day
World Laughter Day

Laughter is the sweetest medicine for mind and body
Laughter is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Humour lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. It also helps you to release anger and be more forgiving.
With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource for surmounting problems, enhancing your relationships, and supporting both physical and emotional health. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.
Today we are all so busy in our daily routine that people usually do not find time for such activities. Hence such celebrations become important.
World Laughter Day takes place on the first Sunday of May of every year. On 7th May 2017 Ford Family spread the healing benefits of laughter among its staff by celebrating the World Laughter Day.
The purpose of celebrating this day was to spread the message of happiness among the hospital employees and let them know the importance of ‘Laughter’.
Dr Rajeev Ranjan (Medical Superintendent) encouraged the heads of all the departments to follow the Laughter Therapy. He advised the participants to distress through laughter and laugh often as it is contagious and spreads like fire.
